Refund & Returns Policy

At Galeri Keris Sufi, we take immense pride in the authenticity, curation, and preservation of our traditional Malay cultural artworks. Because our catalog consists of one-of-a-kind antique statuary, heritage art, and traditional busana, we maintain a strict but fair returns policy to protect the integrity of the artifacts.

1. General Returns

If you are not entirely satisfied with your acquisition, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your item.

  • To be eligible for a return, the artifact must be in the exact condition you received it, unaltered, undamaged, and complete with all accompanying documentation, including the Certificate of Cultural Authenticity and expert tangguh assessment, if applicable.
  • The item must be returned in its original, secure custom wooden casing to prevent transit damage.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are strictly non-refundable once acquired:

  • Items that have undergone custom mandi keris, ritual cleaning, or conservation services at your specific request prior to shipping.
  • Custom-fitted traditional attire, including Busana and headgear such as Tanjak.

3. Return Shipping and Customs

Due to the complexities of international logistics and cultural classification:

  • Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service such as DHL or FedEx and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  • For international returns, the buyer is responsible for ensuring the item is correctly declared for customs to avoid import duties upon its return to Malaysia.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every piece that leaves our gallery undergoes rigorous inspection and is meticulously cataloged. However, if your artifact arrives damaged due to transit, or if you receive an incorrect item:

  • Please contact us via WhatsApp (+60 17-650 4480) or email (galerikerissufi@gmail.com) within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include clear photographs of the damaged item and the external packaging or wooden casing. We will work directly with the courier to resolve the issue and facilitate a return or appropriate compensation.

5. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected at our Dengkil gallery, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, such as Stripe or PayPal, within 7 to 10 business days.
